Among the most popular types of orthodontia today are “invisible braces” — basically, those that have a minimal appearance.
As the name suggests it is invisible aligner!!
In general, Invisalign are an alternative to traditional braces and are designed to help to guide your teeth into their proper position. Similar to braces, Invisalign use a gradual force to control tooth movement, but without metal wires or brackets.
The aligners are made of a strong plastic material and are fabricated to fit each individual’s mouth. If a series of aligners are needed, each aligner moves the teeth the desired movement is achieved.
We often see our friend with metal braces struggling while eating or brushing. Invisalign is the best alternative to make your smile the best. Also, aligners are beneficial for patients with previous orthodontic treatment that want to make minor corrections to their smile. There are several advantages to using clear aligners:
And the list goes on. We believe these are convincing enough to consider Invisalign.
Initially you and our orthodontist have to do a little research on your teeth. We have trained and experienced orthodontist for Invisalign treatment (remember not all orthodontist can do this treatment).
Step 1: Taking impressions
Our orthodontist will take impressions of your teeth and create a customized treatment plan for you and create a digital 3-D image of your teeth and use it to map out the different stages of teeth positioning. Not all teeth are moved at once. Instead we will straighten a couple at a time.
Step 2: Putting on Invisalign
Next we provide you, your clear plastic aligners that are made out of BPA-free plastic. Unlike metal braces, these will not cause irritation or little cuts inside your cheeks. Once you have your set of aligners, you will wear them every day. You have to carry them for longer durations for better results.
Step 3: Getting new aligners – to focus on particular teeth movement
In order to improve the straightening process, our doctor will give you a new set of aligners every week based on your treatment plan. At each stage of the process, you will start to see your teeth gradually getting straighter, giving you a more beautiful smile. During each stage, we will concentrate on moving just certain teeth. With your treatment plan established in the beginning, you will know exactly what to expect each stage. If there is the need for any adjustments to the plan along the way, we can change as per your comfort. In few cases we will also add attachments which are like little ridges to your aligners to help facilitate the teeth-straightening process.
Once treatment is complete, you will love your new smile and will love sharing it with the world. No more hiding from the spotlight or from photographs. You will be able to show the world your beautiful smile.
Straightening one’s teeth can be done by a dental professional in several ways. Among all the most preferred treatments these days are traditional braces and Invisalign
As the traditional braces can’t be removed it is very difficult to clean your teeth. Since the treatment duration is long, this factor has to considered on a serious note though it seems like a small thing.
For bad tooth alignment, they are a better option. if you have severely-rotated teeth, especially when they’re bicuspids. Braces address the root of the problem and are being used for centuries.
As already mentioned above but worth mentioning again comfort and looks. You’ll not have any issues with your looks as they are almost invisible. The comfort to remove while eating or brushing is another main advantage.
